Slusser blasts donations to Dunstan: Challenger claims county has 'pay-to-play' culture

EDWARDSVILLE - A Madison County Board member wants to bring about changes in policy to end "pay-to-play" politics and said the board chairman should lead the way.
"I'm calling on Mr. (Alan) Dunstan to put an end to the pay-to-play culture that has dominated Madison County politics for several decades now," said board member Chris Slusser, who is challenging the Troy Democrat in the November election for County Board chairman.
