Christopher G. Kelly was the finance chairman of Rod Blagojevich’s 2002 campaign for governor. Kelly committed suicide in 2009 after he pleaded guilty to criminal charges and was being pressured to testify against Blagojevich. Kelly is a principle at CGK Consulting, located in Frankfort. He was also the president of BCI Construction, located in Markham. Christopher Kelly represented the Governor in meetings with the Illinois Gaming Board as a Special Government Agent under the terms of the 2003 Ethics Act. He was indicted in 2008 for tax evasion related to the use of company money to pay gambling debts and as of this writing has yet to go to trial.
Chris Kelly was a career patron of Gov. Rod Blagojevich (D).
From 1993 through June 30, 2007, Chris Kelly; CGK Consulting, BCI Roofing gave $686,000. 100% of these funds were contributed to Democrats.
