Ward 8 aldermanic candidate Tim Stout is on the spring ballot – for now.
However, two candidates for alderman in Ward 6, Cameron Counts and Kent DeLay, apparently fell short of the necessary 215 valid signatures to run for the office.
The Municipal Officers Electoral Board, made up of Mayor Tim Davlin, City Clerk Cecilia Tumulty and Ward 3 Ald. Frank Kunz, voted 3-0 Wednesday to dismiss the challenge to Stout’s signatures because the objector’s attorney wasn’t present when the case was called.
Final decisions will be issued Monday on the candidacies of Counts and DeLay.
